Facebook has launched yet another feature to the long list of things this year- Facebook Business Suite.
This feature was built with small businesses in mind. As stated by Facebook this new management service will help businesses:
Save time: Able to post on Facebook and Instagram at the same time and manage posts in one place while still connected to both platforms
Stay up to date: Manage and receive messages and notification alerts in one space
Now, instead of using Page Manager or Creator Studio, you have another way to stay across all of your Facebook and Instagram business interactions that allows you to cover a lot of functions within one space.
After launching a co-watching feature for Instagram back in March, Facebook is now adding a similar function for Messenger “Watch Together”, which will allow users to host video watch parties, thru video call or Messenger Rooms for up to 50 users.
To use this new feature, users have to on a Messenger video call or a Messenger Room and cannot start from the Facebook Watch tab or anywhere else. From Messenger, they will be able to start a co-watching session by selecting the new option from a drawer that pulls up from the bottom of the screen.
The feature will launch out globally across iOS and Android, but Facebook intends to have web support ready in a matter of weeks, and other platforms, like desktop, will follow.
With Christmas being only 94 days away, Pinterest has launched its latest holiday marketing hub this week in order to help businesses tap into Pins to help maximize their holiday sales performance. Consumer search for “Christmas gift ideas” and “holiday recipes” have increased three times on Pinterest. The hub recommends products, strategies, and best practices marketers can use to activate an “always-on” holiday campaign. Check out the full list here.
Facebook and Instagram aren’t the only ones trying to tap into the Indian market with their new “TikTok-like” apps. Youtube launched its “Shorts” in India that enables users to create 15-second video clips, set to music if you choose, with multi-segment recording options, variable speed controls, hands-free recording, and much more.
